Katz Air is the photo blog of Michael Katz (or Captain Katz as I’m called on this site).

My blog features for the most part photo galleries from my most interesting flying adventures and headbanging sprees (i.e. concerts). There might also be the occasional other blog post topics.

I acquired my private pilot license in December 2010, and have logged about 100 flying hours as of December 2011. My profession is (coincidentally) aviation related as a Instrument Flight Procedure Designer at Avinor. I do indeed prefer to spend my time above ground, as I also have a Master’s degree in Astrophysics from the University of Oslo. In addition to flying I have a great interest in photography and computer technology.
